Dear Hannah,

Infrequently asked questions

What's all this then?

What does it look like?

My partner asked me to put my polemics into writing. Ostensibly, this was to make them available later, after I'm gone. Potentially, it was an attempt to reduce the frequency of detailed lectures. Good luck with that.

But to be fair, Hannah has evolved quite a lot since we met, and some of that, at least, is a consequence of repeated exposure to my model, on which I've spent most of a long lifetime.

I build websites, so it made sense to put it online. If others can get something from it, all the better. But this is a labor of love, literally. Whether it gains an audience or not is irrelevant to me: a side benefit, if it happens.

But why?

Why not? Writing all this down helps me to keep it all straight, and often gives me new insights. And it's a good test. If I can't explain it, then maybe I'm not clear on it myself.

But more than that, I really need to get this shit out. It's a catharsis. And frankly I'm bored with repeating it endlessly to folks. Wouldn't it be nice if people could think for themselves?

Now, I'll be able to simply pass them a URL and be done with it.

And I can tinker with it endlessly. Heh, heh. It's even better than a stamp collection or model trains. Takes up less space, too.

Are you fucking nuts?

Lucidity is relative. From my perspective, it is all of you who are nuts. And even a brief survey of life on Earth shows that the evidence is almost entirely on my side.

Just look around.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
